Although this moisturiser contains oestrogen, it is not classified as a typical form of HRT. Estriol is the mildest form of oestrogen, and so this moisturiser works by replenishing oestrogen. This moisturiser has minimal systemic (body-wide) absorption and has not been shown to affect blood oestrogen levels.

As this product contains hormones, it is prescription-only and requires a doctor’s review before starting. You will have a short appointment with one of our doctors who will review a brief questionnaire and ensure the moisturiser will be safe and effective for you. After the short free consultation, you will be able to purchase the moisturiser if you are eligible.

Each bottle contains 30ml of moisturiser. Each bottle contains approximately a 2-month supply of moisturiser.

The moisturiser comes in a pump bottle. You will only need one pump of this moisturiser to get the correct dose. Your prescribing doctor will also give you full instructions on exactly how to use this product.

Estriol is the mildest form of oestrogen, and so is unlikely to cause any serious side effects. As this moisturiser contains oestrogen it may exacerbate hormonal hyperpigmentation such as melasma.
