Oestrogel is a type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that comes in the form of a clear, scent-free gel.
It contains estradiol, the same type of oestrogen naturally produced by the body which is absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream (transdermal). It’s used to ease the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause caused by falling oestrogen levels.
Why choose Oestrogel?
Unlike tablets, gel does not pass through the digestive system. This means it offers a more consistent absorption, a lower risk of blood clots than with oral tablets, and a lower risk of digestive side effects. This makes Oestrogel a safe and flexible option, which many women like for their HRT.
Oestrogel also gives the freedom to adjust your dose based on symptom severity and find what works best for your body. Adjustments should always be made with guidance from your expert clinician.
Everything you need to know to safely use Oestrogel
Oestrogel helps relieve a wide range of symptoms related to low oestrogen. There are over 40 symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, but the most common ones are listed here.
